हमारी नई बांध कथा 12 देखे। भागीरथीगंगा की सहायक अस्सीगंगा में 3 अगस्त 2012 को बादल फटा। अस्सी गंगा में तीन जलविद्युत परियोजनायंे निमार्णाधीन है। एक और भी चालू हो रही है। लोगो का विरोध जारी है। पर्यटन और ट्राउट मछली के लिये प्रसिद्ध लगभग 25 किलोमीटर लम्बी सुंदर नदी घाटी की तबाही और 50 से ज्यादा मजदूरों की हत्या की जिम्मेदार है, उत्तराखंड जलविद्युत निगम की ये छोटी जलविद्युत परियोजनायें। भागीरथीगंगा में अस्सी गंगा के मिलने के बाद मनेरी भाली चरण-2 जलविद्युत परियोजना के कारण भी तबाही आई। यही सब इस देखे बांध कथा-12

Have a look of our new Bandh Katha 12 ( Dam story-12) On 3rd August 2012 there was a cloud burst in Assiganga, a tributary of Bhagirathiganga. In Assiganga, three hydroelectric projects (HEP) are under construction. Another one is also starting. Peoples protest is going on. These 'small' HEP of Uttrakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam are responsible for the death of more than 50 workers and destruction of 25 km of beautiful river Valley famous for tourism and "Trout Fish". After the confluence of Assiganga with Bhagirathiganga there was destruction also due to Manari Bhali HEP phase-II. View all these in this Bandh Katha-12.
